The interviewing process was long and drawn out. I met with (2) different individuals in management to be considered for the position, in 2 separate meetings. Then I had a 3rd interview with another Sales Team leader to provide insight if I'd be a good fit. Finally, I met with the VP of MSI as Iast step. I was lead to believe I was top candidate for the position.
Then the next morning, I received a phone call stating that they were no focusing on the territory I was being considered for, and that it was no longer top priority. If they simply preferred another candidate I would completely understand, but learning the opportunity was simply no longer available overnight after 4 Interviews was ridiculous.
After investing hours of my time, jumping through multiple hoops, I was then shocked to learn they were no longer hiring. How can this change overnight? It was a complete waste of my time. Lesson learned: if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
Ask questions first and don't waste your time on something that is not defined. I was shocked, dumbfounded, and confused. This was the most unprofessional, disappointing, and unorganized interviewing process I have ever experience. I felt it was a bit shady and turns out I was right!
