Interview
A phone call for screening purposes followed by a technical assessment sent to my email address asking me to fork a git repo and do a code review, creating a PR in less than 24h. When you open the repo it actually asks you to write code and not do a review. The base code provided is quite simple. The feeback received was confusing, saying that I did not implemented or suggested quite questionable things, might be reviewed by an intermediate developer

They cancelled the interI had an interview scheduled for the Senior Product Owner – AI Foundations role, and the company cancelled it the same day, informing me the role had already been closed because they “found their talent.”
This is a clear sign of disorganization in the hiring process. If a role is already at the offer stage, interviews shouldn’t still be scheduled. Candidates invest time preparing, rearranging schedules, and showing professionalism — it’s disappointing when that isn’t respected in return.
The communication felt last-minute and avoidable. It leaves a negative impression of how hiring operations are run internally.
I hope Medfar improves the candidate experience moving forward, as this reflects poorly on an otherwise interesting opportunity.
