First interview was with recruiter- typical first call type conversation. Second interview was with hiring manager. This manager pushed really hard on certain questions that I felt like I was giving very clear answers. Very off putting and made me second guess whether I wanted to work for them. Third was a case study that you received ahead of time, and reviewed with 2 team members. I prepared ahead of time, and had a good conversation about my answers. Fourth Interview session was 3 1:1 meetings with 2 directors and the CEO. One director was amazing and conversational. The other product director interrupted me multiple times, couldn't focus on a topic for more than 30 seconds and had a huge ego. Major red flag that made me second guess my want to work here. The CEO on the other hand was candid, approachable and engaging. Overall, the interviewers were all over the board- I had major reservations about working with some of them, but the CEO seemed like a person I would bend over backwards for. I was very surprised I didn't get an offer- but overall I feel like their business model is not sustainable and they will be the jack of all trades, master of none in the financial space. Mark my words: M1 won't exist in 5 years but I am sure the CEO will be successful.
