Weird and awkward interview. I was very uncomfortable, I've never experienced anything like it.
Advice to management: unclench, uncross your arms, and try to connect with people. It's hard to hire good sales people when you're not standoffish. Also, the MOH will make you lose business as it sounds like comcast or Best Buy, and reminds people of large corporations with long hold times.
Also, interview each person the same (regardless of race, gender, or orientation) to avoid legal issues.
They record you through the whole process, you don't get to meet/ talk to the sales team before being hired, the base salary offer is lower than what was posted on their glass door ad. The interview times lasted longer than scheduled. One guy mimics the behavior of a difficult prospect (similar body language and short answers) as a test which was super annoying, as I'd want to know genuinely who I'd be working with for 40 hours a week. Google "sales job interview questions" and that's what they ask. They also ask odd questions, like which book did you read last... that seemed like a way to pry for info that goes beyond what a professional relationship would be. What someone reads on their free time is nobody's business, try asking open ended questions. It just really was a waste of my time, as the first time he checked his phone while I was speaking, I was ready to leave. I understand people have issues focusing like stress or ADHD, however there's more polite ways to deal with tht. They expected a lot in the interview process, while being totally checked out and not engaged.
