There was one phone interview and one in person. they asked the same questions during both the in person and the phone interview. Both were easy and not very formal
Was contacted via email for a phone interview to take place either Saturday or Sunday (weird... this should have been my first red flag.) The process started with a pretty standard phone interview with Geoff -- he asked your basic interview questions (strengths, weaknesses, goals) and sounded completely unenthused the whole time. The next day, I confirmed my interest in the role via email, and was asked to send over my transcript and a writing sample.
Heard nothing for 3 weeks. Followed up. Was asked again(!) to send over my transcript and a writing sample, now with 3 references.
Then... I was ghosted. Never heard anything back either way, and think it's extremely unprofessional to have to send over 3 references only to never get any sort of follow up.
The reviews are right. Don't try to overlook them. Seriously, I'd recommend not interviewing/working here.
Your interview with Lyon Law will include an initial, telephonic interview, then an in-person interview, where you will be asked to provide detailed answers to questions about your previous employment. If your initial interviews are successful, they will be followed by a week long working interview, where you will usually screen potential clients for 1-2 days, and then be given specific tasks (which will be looked over upon completion to assess the quality of your work).
Your working interview will give you a real taste of the day-to-day at Lyon Law.
