I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Luxoft (Munich, Bavaria) in Apr 2022
Interview
Recruiter connected to me via Linkedin, asked me if I am thinking a new opportunity and she arranged a video call interview with a technical person. It took almost 1.5 hours and he sent me my background firstly and ask me solve couple of online coding problems. He was really kind and helped me a lot during interview. Questions were neither so hard nor so easy. After this part, HR told me that I am moving forward to the project manager step and arranged an interview again. In this interview we talked about my experience and working style. Hiring/project manager of the company asked me also couple of behavioral questions like "What would you do if you have 2 urgent tasks and you need to finish it same time?" This step also went well and manager told me they will offer me job during the interview.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Luxoft
Interview
One round with hiring manager, little technical mostly HR. Calm and positive but haven't heard back as they said they have other candidates in pipeline. Still waiting. But questioned on coding principles.
it can vary, they care only about client response. so you mostlikely do different rounds for the company and then for client, if the client does not want you even if you exceed luxoft interview it does not matter
The interviewer asked questions related to modern C++ and its standards. It was a nice and well thought interview on the fundamentals of the language as well as software development principles. The interviewer was clear in their questions and followup questions about the job were also well thought.
