The initial call was with the manager then HR. The desire to learn was a major emphasis throughout the introduction. Following that was a lengthy process spanning multiple weeks. I preferred this approach because it gave some space between rounds to breathe and prepare for the next one. However, my experience with the interviewers was mixed. Some were pleasant to talk to and approach with questions, others were the complete opposite. It is understandable to have a crammed schedule and hopping into an interview call is unplanned, but the rudeness of the interviewer to constantly talk over me and interrupting made the conversation unbearable. Although it was a position to learn, there was emphasis on very niche technical topics. It seemed like a trivia game of who knows the most. Following the interviews, the recruiter took a lengthy amount of time to respond with answer and ignored a couple of my emails. During that time, I interviewed with another company who had a much higher compensation package. There was a lot of tension that I sensed from discussing with the team and a boomeresque vibe of office politics. Avoid it like the plague and go somewhere else.
