First a 30-minute phone interview, then a two-hour on-site interview. During the on-site interview, I met with seven different people, two at a time except for the last. The staff was nice, but I'd guess only three had prior experience interviewing. No one was impolite. I was offered something to drink.
I didn't hear back in the time frame they gave me. I reached out and got this automatic reply, "Although you have an impressive skill set, we are sorry to inform you that you have not been selected to move forward in the hiring process. We have selected candidates whose experience & qualifications are a better match for our needs at this time."
I have since seen the job reposted. I've also seen another similar position posted with a scaled back description and experience requirement.
If Lucid Software wanted to be ahead of the curve, I'd recommend giving honest feedback to interview candidates. Two hours is a long time out of someone's schedule, especially if they're working. You had seven people interview me. Could one of them reach out and give me something to help?
