I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Little Lady (Elk Grove Village, IL) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and was contacted a week later was contacted by HR. HR wanted me to send my resume via email and HR reviewed it with the VP. A few days later I received an email to have an in person interview.
1st Interview:
This was with HR for about an hour and asked me various questions about my past and why I am interested. Than I met with the VP and talked a lot about my goals and ambitions which lasted another hour. These two people were very friendly. I was told that they would like to me come in again for a 2nd interview to meet with the CEO.
2nd Interview:
Before the 2nd Interview, I met with one of my mentors in the food industry that had great experience with the company that owns this one. I was given a lot of pointers and to research the product codes they had in local grocery stores. I met with the CEO and it seemed this person already had someone in mind to hire and felt rushed. I created an excel document to show my research on all their products and the CEO seemed not to care one bit. It seemed like the CEO was looking for someone with 10 plus years of food experience in there mid 40's to 50's. The CEO asked about how the website looked and to be honest I said it was designed poorly and needs a lot of improvement. He seemed to disagree but the old thing is, my 1st interview those two people agreed with me.
A couple weeks later I received an email about not getting the position and I followed up on why and HR said they would provide me the details but didn't. It seemed that HR and the CEO both had poor communication in the end and only wanted to hire someone in there mid 40's to 50's.

Question 1
What do you think of the Little Lady Foods website design?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Little Lady (Gurnee, IL) in Aug 2013
Interview
Had interview with 3 people, during interview one leaves without a word. Unorganized as far as one manager requesting a 2nd interview, and the others not requesting. Knowing that one manager requested a interview, took 1 month to respond...that they went in another direction.
