I initially interviewed June 2025-July 2025. It was about 4 rounds - all of them were extremely positive. Liqueo's interview process is a big different where they will interview you but then bench you for anywhere from 6-18 months until they wait for the right engagement. This only really works if you have a job in the meantime and I was unfortunately unemployed so I needed to move on. I accepted a different job in October 2025 and notified Liqueo. From there things got a little frustrating. The head of HR asked if I wanted to still be "on the bench" and if an engagement came up she would reach out and I could decide if I wanted to continue or if I wanted to focus on my current job opportunity. I told her I would be open to conversations if something came up. She reached out in January 2026 to say a lot of opportunities were open and she was going to submit my profile to be considered. I told her I was very interested and if I needed to reinterview with anyone since it had been some time and she said all my interviews were great everyone was pleased with my experience and that its just time to connect me to the right engagement. She said I should hear back from her by end of Feb. I checked in with her in Feb she said I would hear back end of Feb. It's now mid April 2026 and I never heard back and at this point this has happened several times over the course of talking to Liqueo for close to a year. It is a bit disappointing because I thought very highly of the company and the various people I met while interviewing. I even had someone go so far to connect with me in person post interviewing with him while I was waiting for an engagement because he wanted to check in on how I was and help with any other job opportunities I might be looking at. I think what Liqueo does and the people that work there all seem great but this is not a productive interview process and it can feel quite frustrating and disappointing to the person looking for a job, especially in this market.
