I interviewed at Lift Schools (Birmingham, England)
Interview
Lengthy interview with many questions and it was a Panel of 3, however did tell the result of the interview quite promptly which is good. Took approximately an hour also.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lift Schools (Birmingham, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
1. Application via LinkedIn
2. Short listed for an HR Task (Quite easy- Remote)
3. Face- to-face interview (The panel was welcoming)
My interview was good however I wasn’t selected as I didn’t have experience in education sector.
I assume they were aware that I don’t come from the education sector when I was shortlisted for the HR task.
I was confident about this role, especially since my interview went very well. If a lack of experience in the education sector was a deciding factor, I shouldn’t have been shortlisted in the first place. After all, no one can gain experience in the sector without being given an opportunity. Does this mean that I shouldn’t be applying for jobs in the education sector?
I was expecting a more detailed feedback, as this response doesn’t provide any insight that would help me improve for future opportunities.
