I would not recommend investing time to interview.
The website portrays honorable values, but from my experience, upper management acts contrary to the core values and principles of social work, which emphasize humility, empathy, respect, and empowering others rather than oneself. During my interactions, upper management acted aloof and acted as if they are superior due to their role in the social work profession. I was excited at first interaction with staff during the initial interview, as I believe the field roles work hard and are committed. Once I spoke with upper management, I simply could not join this organization.
Advise to upper management:
The leaders need to remember the profession is about service, support, and advocacy, which are fundamentally opposed to acting in a way that is mighty or high-minded.
