Manager Interview
The hiring manager evaluates the candidate’s technical skills, job fit, and problem-solving ability. This stage focuses on past experiences, key achievements, and how the candidate approaches challenges. Communication skills and long-term career goals are also discussed.
Peer Group RA Interview
The candidate meets with peer-level Research Associates (RAs) to assess teamwork and collaboration skills. This stage focuses on practical work experience, communication style, and how well the candidate integrates into the team’s dynamics.
Leader Group Interview
Senior leadership evaluates the candidate’s alignment with the company’s vision, culture, and strategic goals. The discussion includes long-term contributions, adaptability, and potential for growth within the organization.

Interview
I had two rounds of interviews. One a general one with the operations head and another with a couple of application scientists. For the second interview, I had to prepare a short presentation that focused on how to increase implementation of their technology. It felt more marketing than science so I was a bit out of my wheelhouse. Most of my experience was good. Unfortunately, I never heard from them again after the second interview. I think if you ask someone to prepare a presentation, you should at least email them to say they're going with someone else.
