I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Library of Congress (Washington, DC) in Nov 2021
Interview
The team was friendly and engaging. Most of the interview questions focused on my written KSA's asking me to elaborate on my experiences. The interview itself lasted about an hour. There was a second portion where I met with the rest of the office for conversation and questions.

Question 1
Your resume mentions you completing a complex project, can you tell me more about the steps that you took to complete that project?
I interviewed at Library of Congress (Washington, DC)
Interview
You will be asked the same questions that were on the written KSAs. There will be a chance to follow up with any questions that you yourself may have. There shouldn't be any surprises.

Question 1
Describe your previous experience with technical work.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Library of Congress (Washington, DC) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was held via zoom during a 90 minute time slot. Three committee members were on the call, and one explained how the process would work. Mainly, I was asked questions that directly connected to the requirements of the position, as well as follow-up questions as needed. Then, I was asked if I had questions, and given a brief overview of the position. My interviewers lefts their cameras off for the majority of the interview. Two members hardly spoke, except after a long delay when directed to ask a question. This seemed like they maybe weren't paying attention at all. One member asked me twice for a basic piece of information that would have been at the top of my resume. I though the questions were fair and relevant (and they told me all interviewees have to answer the same ones). However, I felt that the interviewers failed to demonstrate interest or courtesy.
