Interview
I applied online. I interviewed Remote in Feb 2021
Screening - An initial Zoom call with Hiring manager very focused on basics and your understanding of OOP's and Design Principles.
Interview
There is a 4 hour Zoom interview with different members of the team. The first hour is a coding test (medium difficulty),After this, you meet with two engineers at a time to discuss your coding solution, technical questions, your background, how do you approach a problem/solution etc., for the next 1.5 hours. Everyone is very easy going and friendly.
Now the Frustrating Part
1.When I reached out to recruiter he mentioned that all the interviewers gave a positive feedback waiting on few more interviews to wrap up before making a decision
2.I reached out after 1 Week/2 Week the recruiter said the same thing
3.I have a different offer in my 3rd Week reached out to recruiter before accepting this position he responded with exactly the same thing
4.I am writing this interview experience on 04/29/21 and I noticed this position is still open
Advice to Management : I have to take a day off to interview and my interviewers at LendingTree have spent a cumulative 4 hrs to interview me. Please don't waste everyone's time if you are not ready to hire someone
