I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lender Legal Services (Orlando, FL) in Feb 2017
Interview
I interviewed at LLS twice. The first interview was with the founding partner and one other junior partner. The interview lasted less than 20 minutes. They asked typical questions about my experience. What was odd was that they asked me many questions about my position at the time that seemed more inquisitive rather than focusing on my skills. The founding partner Anas focused how they love foreclosing on people and bring aggressive. The second interviewer seemed very spacey (like he was stoned). I was given no offer.
The second interview was with one partner Joe who made barely any eye contact. He gave me a lot of information about the company that I did not get in the first interview. He kept talking as if I was already offered the job. Found out few days later that I was not given an offer?
I am still wondering why they had me interview a second time if they did not intend on hiring me. I possessed all the skills they needed so I am not sure if it was a race or gender issue.
