Interview process was straight to the point and asked basic customer service related questions. Didn’t find it to be overall very difficult and was about 45 minutes long. Interview was done with 2 managers who were friendly.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Larson Manufacturing Company (Albert Lea, MN) in Dec 2018
Interview
I applied on line for supervisor position through Indeed and company website. I was contacted within a week or two after applying for the position. I was screened by an HR person over the phone who asked me some questions. He took some information from me. I was told he would be in contact as the process advanced. In a week I was contacted and asked to interview at the Albert Lea, MN distribution center with the Operations Manager and the HR generalist. The interview started with introductions and operations tour of the facility. It concluded with an interview in a conference room with the CDC Manager/Ops Mgr. and HR. The manager and HR person both asked questions which were a back and forth series of behavior based interview questions. Questions such as "Tell me about a time when you had XX kind of experience and had to resolve the problem, what did you do and what did learn thereafter?" or, "Explain an example of how you have lead a project or initiative involving your team, what did you set out to do, how did it turn out and what problems did you run into?", "What has been the biggest achievement in your career and why?" The questions were pretty normal behavior types of questions. They were set up to get me to explain details and talk more about how I did things. The process was great, the facility and operation was impressive, clean, well lit and people there seemed busy and happy. The CDC Manger/Site Manager was very nice, professional, well organized and seemed like the warehouse was a tight ship. Overall I was impressed. I am still waiting to see if I am called back for further consideration. Company seems like a good employer though this location was a non corporate site which may have been more or less like the company feel. Seemed like a strong operation and company culture.
