I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lake County Social Services Department (Lakeport, CA)

Interview

There is written test. Once you pass then you will receive a notification asking if you would like to participate in interview. The interview is scheduled about 2 weeks after the notification. The program manager call you to make an offer. You go through background check. The whole process took about 2 months.

Why do you want to work for child welfare services What relevant experiences you have How would you establish relationship with teenager in order to help them I was given a list of interview before interview started so that I can read them while they ask questions. It was pretty relaxed.

I interviewed with two women. They had a prepared list of questions and they both wrote down my answers. The interview was over immediately when the saw that I have been a stay at home mom for many years. They were also disappointed that I had never been on welfare.
