I feel that the recruiter made a decision to not move me forward based on the fact I have volunteered with animal welfare groups for shelter work and spay/neuter. He seemed to have it confused with animal rights groups. When I tried to explain the difference he stated that it was because of my having no CRO experience- when it was clearly stated in the job description that other experience could be used in lieu of. When I tried to review my last three years of monitoring experience he went back to the animal thing. It was very off-putting and awkward.
