2 rounds of interview via zoom with camera on. First interview was a one to one and next interview had 3 other people from the team on. They all asked questions it was a pretty easy low stress process
I applied online. I interviewed at LabRoots in Dec 2021
Interview
I applied through a 3rd party staffing company and the first step was a phone screening with them. Nothing out of the ordinary.
At least a week later (it might normally be shorter but there was a delay with looking at applications), I got a call from the recruiter saying the manager wanted to speak with me for 30 minutes. The questions here were mostly specifying about stuff that you're working on in your current job, what tools you use, etc. They're also looking for someone with energy who is excited about what they do in the tech field.
In the end, I was told during the interview that I wouldn't be a good fit since I don't have much experience with some of the technologies they were working on (C++, MySQL, etc.) and it was a small team so they wouldn't have time to onboard me.
