I applied online. I interviewed at LCI Language Centers (Houston, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
Answered a Craiglist add (with explicit, accurate wage information - I really appreciated that.). Scheduled for an interview later that afternoon. Interviewed the end of the week. Typically a mock lesson is required, but my schedule didn't permit. I did observe a class, and submitted a lesson plan, and on that basis was hired probationally, and then permanently.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about experience and strategy for planning lessons for different student populations, learning styles, levels, etc. Also questions about desired number of working hours and availability (daily and seasonal). Very conversational.

Interview
I submitted my resume' blind (not responding to an ad) and received a quick reply. There were several emails back and forth to set up a time to interview. Setting up the final interview was confusing as the hiring manager did not have good email communication skills. The hiring manager stated a date for the interview, but never confirmed that she received my response to her proposed time/date. The interview was a teaching lesson (15 minutes) to actual students. I was given a topic an prepared a short lesson. This was followed by a formal interview.
