Interview
Submitted my applicaton online. Got a call to go in for interview. Told to take my CV/Resume with me. He asked me some questions relating to my my previous work on resume. Then showed me around the gym. Asked me what type of work i was looking for full time/part time?? Said part time. He said that within 3 months they look to promote, to manager role, weekend manager or General Manager. Weird I thought. Offered me job there and then.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Tucson, AZ) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview process was quick. It felt unprofessional. Was selling me the job rather than interviewing me. He explained that only managers get commission and I would only get “commission in the computer” which is pretty much a gold star for making a sale which is worthless. He also highlighted that he doesn’t like to micromanage which is a red flag that he indeed does micromanage.

Interview
I applied online via indeed and received a call to schedule an interview the following day. The hiring manager I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. This is 100% a sales role which I was open to before speaking with this manager. I decided to decline an in person interview. I wouldn’t even purchase a membership from this place.

Interview
They seems so desperate to fill the spot. They told me I was perfect for the position and that they had interviewed 50 other people but I fit the spot perfectly. (Ha) I am in grad school so they weren't willing to work with that (they told me up front.) Told me I would have to go businnes to business and find people to sell memberships to. I would have to meet a certain goal each month. The girl interviewing me was very nice. So nice that I had considered taking the job even though I knew I wouldn't fit the position. She offered me the job but I had to meet the Manager. I met him and he was very cold and unfriendly. He said welcome to the team. I was interviewing for other jobs as well, so I asked how long the offer was to accept the position? He said "so you aren't accepting? Goodbye." And walked away. I have never seen such rudeness and unprofessionalalism IN MY LIFE. I wrote a letter to the corporate office but received no response.
