Managers first reached out via text for an interview, then email for follow up interview with a panel. It went fine, then they reached out again via text to text the offer. Asked me what job grade I wanted, I told them what I applied for and they said they can do the one underneath I had bc my mentor would be at that level. I told them why wasn’t it brought up during the interview process. No response to that, then they said they would look into it for me and get back. After following up with them they declined to extend a formal offer bc of the job grade and salary requested. No recruiter was ever involved in the process
