Welcoming, not too inquisitive, asked basic questions about myself and any previous work experience I had. Did not feel extremely pressured, but was in person not virtual. Also had to do a maths test to check mathematical ability.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (Melbourne) in Jan 2021
Interview
Around 30 minute discussion with the centre manager about the demands of the job and working with children followed by a maths test to gauge my understanding of different Kumon maths concepts.

Question 1
How would you manage working with and teaching multiple students at one time?
Very casual and easy interview. It was mostly chatting with the manager about logistics and what I was comfortable tutoring. They are mostly checking to make sure you have a personality that is suitable for the position.
