I initially attended the Kraft Recruiting/Networking Session on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 at my university. The session lasted for about 2 hours. Many people from both finance and sales were present, although no one from Marketing was there. Gave me a great to chance to introduce myself, make a great impression and give out my business card. I applied the following day for the Sales Intern position and I received an e-mail that Sunday (January 19th 2014). I had a phone interview to start on Tuesday, January 21st 2014. The recruiter was outsourced from Quebec, she was bilingual which helped a lot considering I was bilingual as well. She asked me the standard behavioural questions like, "Why Kraft and why this position?", "What skills do you feel a sales person really needs?", "Tell me about a time when you had difficulty trying to influence a customer to listen to what you had to say". One question that threw me off guard was, she asked me "What other positions/places have you applied for?" I was not sure if it was appropriate, but I answered anyways. Also, one of the other companies I had an interview for was BMO, and she asked me, "Well why Kraft and why not BMO?" Following the interview, they sent me another e-mail (Tuesday, January 28th 2014) for a one-on-one interview on my university's campus, which was on Friday, January 31st, 2014. There were two of the male regional sales managers who interviewed me at the same, which lasted about an hour. Also, they asked me standard behavioural questions, using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action and Result). "Tell me about a time when you succeeded when others did not", "Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a bad customer", "Tell me about a time when you added to the success of a project, and what did you learn from that?", "What was your thought process when choosing your university, why did you choose this school, would you change anything about your decision?" They were very calm, relaxed and welcoming. They contacted me offering me the position on Monday, February 10th 2014.
