The interview process included an in-person meeting with a recruiter, taking the Kolbe personally assessment, an official phone screen with the same recruiter, and an in-person timed logic test and interview with the CEO and other team members.
The company seems to focus less on your actual experience and what you can contribute and share during an interview than it does on your logic test and Kolbe personality test results. Most of the questions I received were in direct response to my test results as a strategist and innovator rather than a do-er. This seemed to really prevent the CEO from hearing what I was saying or being open to what I was showing in my portfolio about being a hands-on marketer. It was a little perplexing that they took the results as literally as they did, even with all the working examples I showed them that I had implemented myself. You would think they'd want an innovative strategist in any Director role.
