I got an email asking to schedule a phone interview two days after I applied for the job. The phone interview went well, so then I was scheduled for a Teams video call with one of the managers. Then I was scheduled for the in-person interview, which took all morning (9:00 AM – noon). I ended up meeting the whole team as well as some other managers. I interviewed in-person with eight people in total. I was asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation about my background and an engineering project I had done, which I presented to the entire group at the start. Then I interviewed with most of them individually (except for the team I would be a part of – they did a panel interview). Afterwards, they took me out to lunch.
There was a higher manager who was supposed to be at the in-person interview, but he couldn’t make it. I was told I would do a Teams video call with him the next day, but by the time I got home from Mansfield I had received an email saying that I wasn’t selected for the position. I’m not sure what exactly they were looking for, but obviously I wasn’t it. Overall, it was a positive experience, though.
