Sydney, 4 stages. when the recruiter reached out to schedule a HR screening, there were no available slots until 2 weeks which was quite weird. booked the earliest slot and did the screening and progressed to the Hiring manager interview shortly followed up with technical assessment and back to back interviews with 4 different people for which I had to take a day off on Friday.
HR got back to me on Monday saying I did not progress.
The HR emailed saying he is happy to give feedback on call however when I replied to the email asking for a feedback, he ghosted me.
So unprofessional!!!
Absolute waste of time and energy. was really excited for this opportunity because of the company but hit with major disappointment.
Quite lengthy.
1x initial interview with the team manager
1x online take home test - basically an aptitude test and example scenario. I didn’t have a background in providing technical assistance via email so even though I passed this section, I think I would’ve done a lot better by including specific links to the information in their knowledge base, rather than re-writing information.
- 3x interviews (senior product experts, customer service manager and then someone at a GM level)
Everyone was very professional and quite friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of scenario based questions. E.g. how would you manage competing priorities.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Klaviyo (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview process was overly long (5 interviews + 3 tasks across 2.5 months).
Communication completely broke down at the end. I was only informed I didn’t get the role after I proactively reached out.
A follow-up call with feedback was promised but never happened, and further emails went unanswered.
For a company that emphasizes customer and employee experience, this felt disrespectful to candidates’ time and effort.
The Interviews were Rescheduled more than once, and every time they would be putting pressure and trying to schedule it for the next or following day. It seemed like it was all about them and their time, never mine.
At the end, after spoken many times with the Recruiter, my feedback email to the company went completely ignored.
I never felt so disrespected by any companies that I interviewed for like this.
Advice to Management:
Respect candidates’ investment in the process by following through on promised feedback and maintaining clear communication. Even a short response goes a long way in leaving a positive impression, regardless of outcome.
