One interview in person with the Principle Investigator, a senior PI from another research lab, and the department Safety Officer, lasting ~1 hour. The interviewers were friendly and welcoming. There were no trick questions, only questions about my experience and suitability for the role.

I applied online. The interview was also online via MS Teams. There were 2 people responsible for the interview. The interview involved some specific for the job questions and then some general questions.
