Interview
I actually answered an ad on craigslist that didn't mention the company by name. The center director called me and set up an interview. When I arrived, I was given a large, detailed application packet that asked about my education, criminal background, previous experience in the field/other job experience, etc. I was interviewed by two center directors for centers in the area. You will be asked about your salary requirements. Aim high! Many of the centers will offer a higher starting salary if you are confident and well qualified (around $12 per hour).

Applied online got a call the next day for an interview. Interview on Friday and got the call on my way back home. Was offered the job in the same day. Process took about 5 days

They ask different scenarios about children and see what you would do, ask if you have transportation to get to work. And why would you want to work there. Then they tell you what they are about and how the company came about

Interview
There were two working interviews and due to computer issues the process took awhile. There was a background check a TB test and prior experience paperwork. You had to have all of your childcare certifications and at least some experience working in childcare.

Why I wanted to work there? What would I do if a child were injured or sick? How would I greet parents? Was I organized and a leader? What my best qualities were and why I wanted to work with children?
