      Design Engineer Interview

      31 Mar 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Gainesville, FL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Gainesville, FL) in Feb 2015

      Interview

Normal questions asked: what classes I'm taking, where I see myself in 10 years, etc. Nothing extraordinary. They came to campus and held open interviews. The lines were out the door with everyone trying to get internships for the summer. They were really nice and patient and I felt like they cared about every person getting interviewed.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Minneapolis, MN) in Jan 2020

      Interview

First interviewed on campus at a career fair for a potential position and had a couple phone interviews within the next month. Did not hear back again for a while, so i communicated with them and was set up for an office interview, which consisted of multiple groups for multiple interviews followed by a lunch. Took about a week to hear back that i did not get an offer. Overall, very long process, but nice people and seems like a good atmosphere to work.
