Kimco Realty Supervisor of Construction Administration interview questions

I was called by Kimco's recruiter for a phone screening. She agreed strongly that I was a good fit for this role. I interviewed for this position in February of this year. Please note that I have over 15 years of experience in commercial construction administration. the interview went well. The interviewer told me in what i thought was a honest tone, " Call me directly if you have any questions. HR will be calling you. ". They never did, either way. What is strange is that this position has been posted monthly ever since with a notation as "NEW" only days old when in fact it is over 6 months old!. Who are they looking for? Is this position really necessary? They need to stop wasting unemployed people's time and money in interviewing expensive. I find this to be unprofessional and indecisive behavior. Maybe I was just the wrong color and gender. ?????
