I applied online. I interviewed at Kelly (Gulfport, MS) in Jun 2013
Interview
You spend an entire day watching stupid videos about common sense things. The "interviewer" stops the video after each section so a discussion can take place. It's completely moronic. Then whatever time wasn't spent on the video, is spent talking to a "hiring specialist" where you go over the idiotic video again, your application and qualifications, the company's rules and regulations, and you answer situational questions. You do have to complete and pay for a background check, however a drug test is not required, even though you'll be working in schools with children.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kelly (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2025
Interview
Very simple. I was hired on the spot to substitute teach in my chosen district. It was a group interview and everyone was hired. We then talked about the hiring process and how to continue with the required training courses.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kelly (Addison, IL) in Sept 2025
Interview
The initial interview was really EZ. The personnel were friendly and professional. They encouraged me to continue with the onboarding process. Also, I stated that I would continue to apply.
Short zoom call with other people on the call. Most of it is just listening to rules and guidance to get all signed up and ready to teach. Doesn’t take much longer than about thirty minutes.
