This company had the weirdest interview process. I spoke with a person in PR because their CEO can’t really handle the hiring process, I guess. She was super nice but had no idea what the position would really be like, the pay, benefits, growth potential etc. Like the other person who left a review on the interview process, I also experienced poor communication and a request for unpaid work. I was asked to create an entire article for a real product they sell and create ad copy for them. This was after viewing an entire portfolio. No real directions, just two very basic prompts. I was told my samples were clean and she enjoyed meeting me BUT they need someone with experience building an international brand. Okay? Sure? Then make the pay and benefits appropriate for a world class copywriter. Looking at the last interview, I’m glad I never met the CEO.
