1st Stage: TA Interview (30 minutes via MS Teams).
The initial interview with the Talent Acquisition (TA) specialist was straightforward. It was a 30-minute discussion conducted via Microsoft Teams, where we covered my background, relevant experience, and motivations for applying to the position. The TA was professional and friendly, which made for a comfortable conversation.
2nd Stage: Interview with Director (Case Study).
For the second stage, I was given a case study a day before my scheduled interview with the Director. Coming from a consulting background, I felt prepared and tackled the case study with a structured and thorough approach. During the interview, I presented my analysis and recommendations.
While I believed I did reasonably well, the feedback indicated that my approach was considered too 'academic.' It's clear they were looking for a different style or perhaps a more practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Despite my experience and effort, I was not selected for the role.
