I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS) in Aug 2014
Interview
It was good. Not too many technical questions. I worked for the KSU Graduate School where the job responsibilities where over many areas from hardware to software. Troubleshooting kind of daily jobs where given very often. Overall it was a good experience.

It was a personal interview. Basically knowing more about myself and do I fit for the role of Graduate Research Assistant. Does interest align with the current research project.
