I applied online. I interviewed at Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (Topeka, KS) in Jul 2021
Interview
Great. People that truly care about those in their charge. They have a tremendous responsibility to care for those who most need a helping hand. Unfortunately the type and location of several facilities are sometimes off the beaten track, and don't attract the highest caliber employees. They are so short staffed that some positions will hire anyone with a pulse.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (Parsons, KS) in Feb 2011
Interview
It was a straight forward process. It was also a very simple interview process and was low key and seemed quite informal. There were many questions about my background. Much of the questions were of a psychological nature and were geared towards weeding out individuals that may have a problem with working with the developmentally disabled and perhaps people in general.
