The initial interview was over the phone. The second stage in the process was a dual panel interview at the plant. Overall, the interview process went smoothly and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout each interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Aluminum (Spokane, WA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Kaiser uses the STAR interviewing technique. STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Result. Interviews are at least half of a day held by a panel of interviewers individually including a plant tour.
