KBR Talent Acquisition will not send you a "Thanks But No Thanks" email. Once you apply for a job, you have to keep logging back into your Workday account to check the status of your application. They will never thank you for the time that you took to apply. The TA team will simply move your application from "Active" to "Inactive" in Workday. This has been the case with all seven jobs that I have applied for. Even jobs where I had an interview. (And yes, I checked my junk mail.) I guess they are afraid that a "Thank You" email might give a person ammunition for a law suit. Or maybe they don't really care about following up with candidates who were not selected. Either way, it says a lot about their culture.
