The interview process included a phone interview and then interview with 6 people which was fine experience in meeting all the team members but one caveat included that the hiring manager,
VP IT had very poor communication skills and wouldn't respond to my questions and just gave blank stares. He came into the interview with a laptop as a blocker while everyone else was open body language and so friendly.
He decoded my resume and told me i lived and worked somewhere else trying to convince me he was right. - very dysfunctional. Is this guy normal? He was trying to undermine me in the interview so what would he be like to work with. Dreadful! He also appeared to have issues with female authority and issues of male chauvinism which was clear in his facial expressions of stress and blank stares.
The team members asked if I came in through this VPs "network" which I said NO WAY, I applied online. This VP of IT was bringing in his own network hires which is also known as bias.
