I applied online. I interviewed at Just Eat Takeaway.com (Amsterdam) in Mar 2024
Interview
There were two rounds of interviews followed by a final assignment, which included a presentation. The entire process was completed within two weeks, which was very efficient. However, I have yet to receive any feedback following the submission of my assignment.

Interview
It was straightforward, but I didn’t expect to even get an interview with them which was quite surprising. Although I did wait a while to see was whether my application was successful

I applied online. I interviewed at Just Eat Takeaway.com in Feb 2023
Interview
1st and 2nd interviews over Google Teams with a design task set for the 2nd interview. Initial interview was relaxed and friendly, although I felt one the interviewers to be a bit dismissive. I was surprised to receive a 2nd interview as a result . Though given my wide range of experience and strength of design work for major brands it would be hard to say I wasn't a good candidate for the role. Not all the team invited to my 2nd interview were in attendance, which made me question how serious they viewed me in the role. And although my conversation with those who were there was friendly and focused on the task, I did feel a slight level of intrusive questioning from one of the interviewers. Their hiring managing who informed me I was unsuccessful in getting the role feedback that everyone felt I was a great guy, a great fit, but that I had not followed the brand guidelines on the task. Bearing in mind the brand assests given to me for the task. And the research I done into their previous campaigns before starting the task. I felt their reasoning to be a poor excuse. Where they felt legally obliged to carry on out the interview process to appear fair and open. As opposed to bias based on my background. A gut feeling that's hard to prove. But something, given that the task was met to a high standard, with a rational behind my design thinking, plus the three routes submitted to be the only conclusion I can draw from their feedback.
