I had to do a competency based test initially which took 45 minutes overall for management style and psychometric tests.
Then I did a videostream interview 15 minutes with no one at the other end. This was in middle of October 2017. I received a reply of 3 options why the candidate is not routinely selected in middle of February 2018. The HR phone number or any phone number was not on the website. I invested 3 hours into preparation and more. Yet after 3.5 months the response was clearly poor. I asked in the inquiry to provide me with a video of my own stream by email to review it. I am owed that much for the waiting period because I may have had a chance to interview in Cork but the email failed to deliver!
This is very rigorous and the HR communication came from New York. There are too many candidates to succeed. I applied for other positions at the conpany as an analytical chemist. I guess Ireland really is the most competitive place for the STEM job market. The feedback for the time investment was very very very poor. The video stream had weird functionality in that I didn't know if it was running or not so I didn't answer Q1 properly.
