I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (New Brunswick, NJ)
Interview
3 phone interviews
2 days in a hotel with scheduled interviews (5 a day). You are asked the same questions mostly and some interviewers ask about details on your previous experience. Example, they wanted to know what I knew about technical transfers.
A networking dinner that you SHOULD go to because they decide if you have a sponsor.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson in Oct 2025
Interview
first a virtual interview. then a two day interview with the top 80 candidates. they take about 25 people. the two day process is long but good. first day you hear from people in/graduated from the program. second day is two 1-on-1 interviews plus a case study with a few other candidates

Question 1
Tell me about a time you took a different approach to a problem instead of the tried-and-true method
Long and difficult with a long interview and case studies and information sessions but good experience meeting people and learning about the program, worth the time but takes a lot of effort and attention
The video interview process was pretty standard and was similar to previous video interviews I had. They did seem to want an emphasis on the Johnson and Johnson core values.
