Interview
Weeks after applying, I received messages from two different groups expressing interests in interviewing me. Both groups scheduled screening interviews with their respective section supervisors. Those 30min Zoom sessions were good conversations where the supervisors and I spoke about our experiences and they pretty much just asked me questions to make sure I was who I said I was and I wasn’t a walking buzzword generator. Next, I did an hour long technical talk with Q+A. It was on Zoom with people from both sections and a few folks with overlapping expertise. People were really engaged and asked great questions. Then I had panel interviews with several individuals from each group, 1 group per day. The questions ranged from behavioral to super technical. Many of the folks who asked super technical questions attended my technical talk and I really appreciated that. Having been through a rigorous grad program, no question can stump me to a point of embarrassment, so it was fun. Got offers from both groups and chose my favorite.

Interview
Very friendly. 2 hour interview with multiple different people. They talked about what they do at work and what they expect out of an employee. The questions weren't hard and the job seemed interesting, so I took it.
