I interviewed at John Laing (New York, NY)

      Interview

The interview process was relatively straightforward and structured into a few distinct rounds, each focusing on both technical and behavioral components. The technical portion wasn't overly challenging and primarily involved questions related to financial modeling and forecasting, designed to assess practical analytical skills rather than obscure theory. As for the behavioral side, the questions were fairly standard and aimed at evaluating fit, communication style, and prior experience—nothing unexpected or particularly tricky. Altogether, the experience was professional and predictable, with a clear emphasis on core competencies.
