I applied for job on indeed and received a callback. I scheduled interview at a Starbucks (which is strange) but figured if it was a good job, why not?
What I didn't realize is that I was given no direction on how the interviewer we recognize me in a public place. I wasn't told if I would get a call when the interviewer arrived.
I called the person who scheduled interview and he gave me phone number for interviewer.
Interviewer didn't answer the phone or respond via text.
I realized that someone next to me who looked to be interviewing someone. Come to find out they scheduled 3 people at the same time for interview. Their response was I could wait until he's done. And they usually have no shows.
That's completely unacceptable and disrespectful to candidates. I came about 30 minutes early for interview. This was totally disrespectful of my time and the other candidates. There was someone else waiting to interview as well. I've never experienced this in my 10 year working history.
This be a everlasting taste in my mouth the people at company. They didn't apologize or anything and made it seem as if it was normal practice.
I refused to wait and let someone disrespect my time.
