Recruiter reached out to me on linkedin looking for a Senior Devops engineer. I figured I'd give it a shot even though I am currently in a SDE role, since my work deals with a lot of infrastructure.
The interviews followed a pretty standard process; couple of phone screens followed by onsites in the Hoboken, NJ office. The hotel they put you up in is nice and is connected to the office so everything is super convenient. Everyone was polite during onsites and the office itself is very nice. The interviewers seemed knowledgeable and they have a pretty cool stack with F# services running on Azure with a the full suite of Hashicorp tools. Only kind of weird thing is that you eat lunch by yourself in an interview room.
Unfortunately after the onsites my recruiter was not very responsive. I eventually stopped following up as I wasn't super keen on the role and I'd rather stick to development. Overall experience was positive, but ghosting after onsites leaves a bad taste.
