Interview

Interview
After submitting my application and finishing the four hour editing test, I was beyond excited to move onto the next step of the interview process with Jellysmack. I interviewed at 5am here in the US to accommodate their hours in France. Nowhere in the general application did it say applicants had to speak French, it only asked what languages you would feel comfortable editing in. I selected English. In my emails with the hiring rep I confirmed a second time that I only speak English. When I showed up for the interview, the same hiring rep informed me the second half would be conducted in French, as this was an editing role for French video content. The hiring rep confirmed their mistake but was unapologetic. Very disappointing to see from such a great company

After you pass their assessment they'll schedule a call with you and then it'll be a 30 minute interview and that's it. At that point they'll let you know that they'll follow up. Usually 3 to 4 days or max a week, if not try next time.
