I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Japan External Trade Organization (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Contacted by recruiter and had one interview with the director I worked under where they asked me about my experience and my future goals. It was pretty standard and the recruiter served as an intermediary.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Japan External Trade Organization (Beppu, Oita)
Interview
The first round was an internal interview with my university's career office staff. It was difficult for me because it was entirely conducted in Japanese. After that, there were two screening processes: Internal candidates selection and JETRO screening.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions are basically based on your resume. Tell me about yourself. Why JETRO? What do you expect to gain from this internship experience? What is the thing that you give time to the most during university life? and what did you learn from it? What is your future goal? What is your weakness?
