JB's Diner interview questions

Email correspondence is with a completely different person to the one you meet, so the interviewer knows nothing about you (hasn’t even been given cv). The interviewer was very friendly and helpful, and I did 1 hour of a trial shift which I really enjoyed! I felt like the interview and shift went well, but of course that doesn’t mean anything. The next day, I received an email with a job offer, start date and other induction information and I accepted- I was really excited. Less than an hour later, the offer was retracted because I had stated I would prefer to start 3 days later than the original start date (this was made clear in my application, at the trial shift, during the interview and again through my email correspondence. I also said it was a preferred date due to personal circumstances but was not met back with any issues or asked whether I was able to move things around).
